Behind the Bitters
This flavor made its first appearance via the Bitters Lab Club™ in the spring of 2018. We brought it on as our first Spring seasonal flavor in July of 2019.
Locally sourced Rhubarb and savory Sea Salt, a surprising & incredibly complementary pairing.
We source the rhubarb locally from Keep it Real Vegetables, which imparts an earthy and overtly tart flavor, this compliments the savory notes from the bold & flaky sea salt quite well. We combined these with fresh lemon and a few carefully selected bitter roots & herbs to round out this spring flavor.
