Sweet & Savory Granola

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 3/4 cup raw almonds-chopped

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup pepitas

  • 1/2 c dried cherries

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup avocado oil

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp Rhubarb Sea Salt Bitters

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients until everything is thoroughly combined.

  3. Pour granola onto the lined sheet tray and spread it into an even layer.

  4. Bake until lightly golden brown, stirring halfway through. About 20-25 minutes.

  5. Take the granola out of the oven and press an extra sheet tray on top of the granola and let cool for at least an hour. This will help the granola to get crisp and stay in large chunks.

  6. When completely cool, break granola into chunks and store in an air-tight container.
