Our very first flavor, released in 2015. This is a classic bitters style, created with old world cocktail techniques and original medicinal bitters in mind, this flavor has a deep complex flavor with earthy wood notes mirrored with lovely hints of cinnamon, anise, citrus & clove.
Perfect for classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
suggested uses:
Drinks: pairs well with whiskey, scotch, rum, vodka, gin, wine, champagne, coffee & tea
Food: Excellent in baked goods and frostings, and perfect as an addition to toasted nuts, great in savory dishes such as marinade, sauces, meat & vegetables too

A potent woody flavor, reminiscent of barrel-aged whiskey but with a subtly sweet and tart undertone of black currants.

Food: savory dishes (chicken, steak, pork, veggies) & stone-fruit pies.

Habanero Lime
Explosive amounts of habanero flavor with minimal heat. Grassy and woody undertones complement these bitters nicely. The heat is somewhat intense, but comes on later and does not overpower the palate.
Suggested uses:
Drinks: Pairs well with tequila, vodka, rum, margaritas, beer cocktails & is an excellent addition to your Bloody Mary.
Food: Makes a superb salad dressing, atop roasted veggies, chicken, steak & pork, and is a great addition to spice up any dish.

Burnt Honey Hops
With both locally sourced hops and honey, this flavor has delicate fruity characteristics of grapefruit, bright orange, and lime. There is a deep earthiness from the burnt honey a dark rich flavor that, combined with the citrus notes in the hops awakens the palate.

Locally sourced Rhubarb and savory Sea Salt, a surprising & incredibly complimentary pairing.
The rhubarb, sourced locally from Keep it Real Vegetables, imparts an earthy and overtly tart flavor which compliments the savory notes from the bold & flaky sea salt. We combined these with fresh lemon and a few carefully selected bitter roots & herbs.
Made in very small, limited edition batches. This flavor is available every Spring from around March - May or until it sells out.

Utah Celery & Green Coriander our spring seasonal flavor.
Utah celery has a bold, crisp bitterness that is salty & savory, and very “green” and herbaceous - when paired with the green coriander’s floral notes this flavor is full of citrus and curry - it’s bright, vegetal and bitter.

Pineapple Clove
Pineapple Clove made its debut June 2022 as part of our recurring seasonal flavors. It was first introduced, however, as part of the Bitters Lab Club™ in 2019.
Cloves come from the buds of the clove evergreen tree, the flavor is pungent with a distinct and undeniable warmth, they have a very intense flavor and aroma. On the tongue, you'll detect bitterness and astringency the Pineapple balances the intensity of the cloves by providing sweet, citrusy, and tart notes.

Barrel Aged Apple Bitters
This unique, very special, and limited-edition batch of Apple Bitters was created with care by our team here at Bitters Lab with apples sourced entirely from one of our non-profit partners, The Green Urban Lunch Box, in late autumn 2021. We combined these beautiful apples with carefully selected bitter roots, barks, herbs and spices to create a one-of-a-kind flavor.
The bitters were then aged for 90 days in a recently emptied 1856 Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey Cask before bottling. We released this flavor for Women’s History Month on March 1, 2022.

This unique, very special, and limited-edition batch of our classic Burnt Honey Hops Bitters was created with care by our team here at Bitters Lab with local honey, hops, coriander and gin.
We partnered with Beehive Distillery; using some of their Jack Rabbit Gin in as the base, in addition to barrel aging this flavor in their 7 year gin barrel.
