Currant and Charred Cedar Bitters

Released in 2015, this is our flagship flavor, what we’re best known for and our top seller. Smoky, mildly sweet, and completely unique. 

A potent woody flavor, reminiscent of barrel-aged whiskey but with a subtly sweet and tart undertone of black currants.

 

Try It In:

Food:

  • Mix a little in raw cane sugar & sprinkle on top of loaf cakes or muffins before baking for a delightfully smoky crunch

  • Add to stone fruit pies

  • Savory dishes (chicken, steak, pork, veggies)

Drinks:

  • Old Fashioned

  • Manhattan

Like all of our flavors, our Charred Cedar + Currant bitters are made from real ingredients, always™. Real, food-grade cedar sheets are charred in-house, (or you know, right outside where it’s safe) by our team. Dried black currants & just a few other carefully selected ingredients are what makes up the incredibly unique flavor.
