We’ve used both Elderberries and Elderflowers in this Bitters flavor. The berries bring a tart & earthy bitterness, while the flowers offer a nutty undertone.

Use in tea, kombucha & sparkling water. Great with rum, brandy, whiskey, and gin. And it makes a fun addition to frostings, savory glazes, marinades, and vinaigrettes.

Throughout history, elder trees have been revered and considered sacred in many European cultures and were often referred to as the "Queen of the Woods", and, according to some legends, it was thought to possess protective qualities, acting as a guardian against evil spirits.

Ingredients: Alcohol (neutral spirit), Elderflowers, Elderberries, gentian root, vanilla, herbs & spices, water, sugar.
