Winter Solstice - Persimmon Ginger
We can’t grow Persimmons here in Utah, therefore they are so rarely available to us. However, we collected fresh ones from our local Citrus Farmer who travels between Utah and California every winter to bring us fresh California fruit. Over the course of two years, we collected Persimmons from him and dehydrated them while in peak ripeness.
We paired these Persimmons with peppery Ginger for a nice punch of heat and warmth on the finish.
Persimmon and ginger work great together and are perfect for sweet and savory dishes. Try it in your next meal or favorite dessert, and of course, it works great in drinks too, from cozy tea to cocktails!
