April '22 News
Hi, and welcome to our April and our monthly newsletter,
March was awesome! We celebrated Women’s History Month with a few incredible virtual cocktail classes; our Virtual Event with Victoria Eady Butler was the highlight of our year so far! It was an absolute honor to speak with her and celebrate this fun collaboration with Uncle Nearest (more on that below, in case you missed it).
We held our FIRST in-person class in exactly two years. It was so much fun, thank you all for coming out to support us and 3 Cups Coffee! And for those of you wondering, yes, we are working on our new event space and hope to be ready for in-person classes by late spring / early summer!
Our Women in History class was incredibly fun and we have so many more planned… we’re spending April doing some more research for this series but we can’t wait to share more with you in May.
We have a few fun things planned for April, including an event in Denver! Check it all out below.

Workshops
April is all about the collaborations, can’t wait to see you online soon!
Our TIKI cocktail class is finally here! Friday, April 8th @ 5 pm MDT. You all have been asking for awhile and we finally found the perfect collaborator; Matt Pietrek aka the Cocktail Wonk. Matt co-wrote a Tiki book with his wife Carrie & it’s included in the cocktail kit - limited supplies available - don’t wait!
We’re doing another collaboration with our friend Nicole of Maven Oak Creative - on Friday April 29th @ 6 pm MDT. Nicole will walk us through how to put together an incredibly stunning platter and we’ll make a few spring-inspired cocktails together. It’s like a food & drink pairing where you get to learn a bunch of cool skills! The kit for this class is hella cool too, so much included!
In case you didn’t hear…
We’ve officially released our very special, limited-edition Barrel Aged Apple Bitters in partnership with our friends from Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey - it’s a project nearly 6 months in the making and one we’re really, super duper proud of!
Check it all out here!
We are headed to Denver Colorado in April!
April 16 & 17 for American Field’s Local Denver Market at The Alley @ Dairy Block.
The LOCAL AF Spring marketplace will pay homage to Colorado’s diverse history by pulling in elements of its pioneering past and cutting-edge future. Three weekends of vendor shopping events will be located in the outdoor heated alleyway between the numerous shops and restaurants onsite.
Our Spring Flavors are available now!
Get ‘em while supplies last; our popular spring seasonal flavors from our standard line-up (not part of the BL Club) are Celery & Coriander, and Rhubarb & Sea Salt!
In our Celery & Coriander (one of our founder’s personal favorites!) we use locally grown Utah Celery from BUG Farms & coriander from Keep it Real Vegetables.
Our Rhubarb & Sea Salt has some briny locally sourced salt, and beautiful locally grown Rhubarb from Keep it Real Vegetables!
