Reducing Fruit Waste
For years, we’ve collaborated with The Green Urban Lunchbox, a non-profit that empowers people to connect to food and their community. Their FruitShare program partners with fruit tree owners and community volunteers to harvest and distribute fruit that would otherwise go to waste. Using this local fruit, we have created several limited edition bitters flavors to benefit the organization and help cut back on food waste.
Celebrating Black History for a Cause
In honor of Women’s History Month, we partnered with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey for an exclusive Virtual Cocktail Workshop, featuring their Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler. The moving event interweaved cocktail-making with Black history, as Victoria, the first African-American woman Master Blender, told the story of her great-great-grandfather Nearest Green, the first known African-American Master Distiller.
All the proceeds from the event benefitted the Rutherford County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and The Spice Kitchen Incubator.
Supporting the Service Industry
One Small Miracle is a non-profit organization that supports the incredible members of Utah's food and beverage industry—many of whom do not have health insurance— through unplanned and life-altering medical events.
We collaborated with One Small Miracle to offer a special Tiki Cocktail class, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the organization.
Partnering for Preservation
In 2019, we collaborated with Hell’s Backbone Grill & Farm, a world-class restaurant in Boulder, Utah with a commitment to sustainability, environmental ethics, and social and community responsibility. Together, we created two limited edition bitters based on the flavors of the region. Proceeds from the collaboration benefitted Grand Staircase Escalante Partners, a non-profit organization working to protect and preserve Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
