Pineapple Clove Glazed Bacon

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tbs dark rum (or bourbon)

  • 1 tbs Autumn Equinox Pineapple

  • Clove bitters

  • pinch of fresh pepper

  • 1 package uncooked bacon strips

Instructions

  1. Place raw bacon on parchment lined baking sheet and bake @ 350 for 15 minutes, flipping bacon over once

  2. Meanwhile, add honey, rum, bitters, and pepper to pot on med low heat and whisk all together until warm & combined (about 5 minutes)

  3. After bacon is cooked remove from oven and pat excess fat off - add to new parchment lined sheet & brush with glaze bake for 3 minutes then turn over, glaze the other side and bake for an additional 3 minutes

  4. Serve immediately
