Welcome to Summer!

Hello there - Welcome to our monthly newsletter,

June is here and we have a lot of stuff we’re packing in for the summer, check it all out!

The newest edition of our “Happy List” is here!

With the state of the world being in what seems to be utter chaos and madness these days, we have found joy in finding the simple, positive things in life to help brighten our day. We hope this gives you happiness, even for a moment, also, if you are new here check out our happy list page with an insane amount (2 years worth to be exact) of other fun stuff to check out.

  • We enjoyed watching this fun video to help us prep for our most recent Beer Cocktail class we held last month (also here is recipefrom that class)

  • New accounts on the ‘gram: Jay Shetty, we’ve been listening to his Podcast and his daily meditations on the Calm app it’s all uplifting and helpful in jumpstarting our day

  • Casot, a new (ish) wine bar in Utah - we haven’t been yet, but have plans to soon - Locals, let’s meet up there!?

  • Curiosity SLC - a local zero proof bottle shop & “bar” that just opened it’s absolutely stunning. It’s the BEST spot for all your zero proof needs.

We’re BACK at the Downtown SLC Farmers Market on June 4th

This will be our 8th market season!

We’re also excited to share that we will be back at our original (pre-pandemic) location on the northeast side. Plus, we’ve been working on a brand-new booth layout… you guys, we cannot wait for this year!!

The market runs every Saturday at Pioneer Park in Downtown Salt Lake City from June 4th to October 22nd, 8 am - 2 pm!

Announcing the Bitters Lab Club Summer Solstice

CHAMOMILE BITTERS

Chamomile is mainly associated with tea but we love using it in savory & sweet food recipes, and it makes for a great herbal addition to cocktails!

The flavor is fruity, and herbaceous with a mild bitterness and honeysuckle flavor.

Chamomile loves sweet & citrus flavors. Try it with fruit, vegetables, dairy, spices, or sugar blends; it’s also great in soups or stocks. And of course, try it in tea, vodka, rum, cognac, and especially gin based drinks.

This flavor will be released on the Summer Solstice, June 21st. Orders will start shipping late next week. We are so excited to share this flavor with you!

NEW FLAVORS!

Our Summer seasonal flavors (yes, we said flavors with an “S”) are here!

HIBISCUS YUZU is back and we are thrilled to announce a brand NEW flavor, PINEAPPLE CLOVE! This flavor made its original debut as part of the Bitters Lab Club in 2019. Last winter Club members voted on new flavors for us to add and Pineapple Clove won by a landslide… so here we are. For those who haven’t tried this flavor we really think you’re going to love it - and huge thanks to those that voted on bringing this flavor back we’re really stoked!

In case you didn’t hear…

Our brand new, removable, easier to read, stylish AF labels are here. We’ve been rolling out these new flavors as we run out of old labels (waste not, want not) and our first round we released was batch #29 of Charred Cedar & Currant, and batch #20 of Blueberry Cardamom.

What’s new?

  • Waterproof stickers that are easily removed for maximum reuse of the bottles

  • Clear & concise color-coded flavors, (no more having to turn the bottle to the side to see the flavor name, or our brand name), and can we talk about the drops down the side!?! (keep scrolling)

  • Cohesive designs for both our core and seasonal flavors

We could not have done this without our incredibly talented & patient designer, our friend Meg from Love and Victory, she really captured exactly what we were lookin for; simple, straightforward, yet classy.

Thanks also goes out to our photographer Natalie of Beehive Photo for the great shots.

And last but not least to our printer, Blue Label Packaging for their patience, top notch products & gold star customer service!
