Happy February!
It’s great to see some sunshine (literally) out in the world again! January (as for most people) is always a tricky time, but we’re happy to have that behind us, and to have some wonderful things to look forward to this late winter & spring.
We’ll be at the next Winter Farmers Market on February 11th
We just found out we were accepted into the April 1 & 2 Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco - We know it’s a few months out, but mark your calendars - we can’t wait to see you!
We recently announced being a FINALIST in the Good Food Awards with our Aromatic Bitters. This is a huge accomplishment in our field and we are absolutely honored & thrilled about it. Winners will be announced in April.
Our next Bitters Lab Club™ flavor comes out on March 20th - we are putting the finishing touches on it this month, plus recipe testing cocktails, desserts and savory dishes - we can’t wait to share this super weird-o one with you!
Happy List!
Reading / (Audio-booking cuz reading is hard):
The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, by Issa Rae.
Watching: Changing things up a bit and have been, and plan to continue watching documentary series. Currently on an ExplainedTV series kick.
Listening to: You know our love of music runs deep (it’s where our inspiration for naming cocktails comes from) and we recently discovered the Podcast Bandsplain. Basically it’s like an oral documentary of each band or musician covered, where they play full songs and discuss. So far, we’ve listened to the episode on Jawbreaker and highly recommended - excited to dive into this more this month!
UPCOMING VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS
Can’t make it to our in person Valentine’s Workshop - we got you! Join us for a virtual one; Valentines Inspired Cocktails on Friday, February 10th.
Plus next month has some great classes you won’t want to miss out on; March 1st kicks off Women’s History Month and we have our next Women in History Cocktail class, this is our fourth installment of this series, we’ll be focusing on the 1920’s.
Check it out below & we can’t wait to see you online soon.
NEW FLAVOR ALERT
If you haven’t heard the good news, we released a brand new, limited edition flavor for the month of February!
CHERRY ROSE BITTERS
Made with tart Utah cherries & dried rose petals which creates a unique combination of flavors reminiscent of strawberries & green apple with a distinct bittersweet note.
We added a few more carefully selected ingredients like citrus for brightness, vanilla bean & wild cherry bark for depth. Perfect in classic cocktails like the Manhattan, Negroni or Spritz.
This is a limited-edition flavor available for the month of February. We have just under a dozen left of each size - don’t sit on this one, we will not make this flavor again.
Designs created by the wonderful Love & Victory, and each bottle comes with a vintage-inspired Valentines Card.
